Spire Solicitors LLP is pleased to join the Priscilla Bacon 500 Club as silver members, pledging to raise £1,000 over the course of the year.
The 500 Club is a community of local businesses and organisations who work together and pledge their support for Priscilla Bacon Hospice by helping to raise funds for the new hospice to be built, to enable them to continue the work they do.
Matt Stolady, Head of HR commented “We are really happy at Spire to be supporting Priscilla Bacon Hospice with the construction of their new hospice building.
The new Priscilla Bacon Lodge is desperately needed. Norfolk has one of the lowest levels of specialist palliative care provisions of any English county, and with the population of Norfolk rising significantly and changing patterns of life meaning care within the family unit isn’t always possible, the need for extra beds, a wider range of community day care, and improved outpatient services are imperative.
The new lodge will offer many new resources and benefits to the community including an inpatient centre with modern facilities and capacity for 24 beds, family rooms for relatives and patients with young children allowing families to stay together towards the end of life, education and seminar facilities, and a dedicated hub for specialist care delivered in the community. We are incredibly pleased to join The 500 Club along with over 64 other Norfolk businesses. As a silver member, we have pledged to raise £1,000 towards the cost of the new hospice. Our team at Spire are very active in supporting local charities and we are confident we can raise our target over the coming year.”
