Peter Cook

Working across a range of areas of law Peter specialises in all Property matters, both Private and Commercial and Probate and Wills, as well as managing Spire Solicitors very busy Wymondham office as a Partner.

Educated in Norwich, at Manchester University and Guildford College of Law, Peter trained at Cecil Ellison in Manchester transferring to Shoosmith & Harrison Solicitors in Bedford before joining Pomeroy & Son in Wymondham reputedly the oldest firm of Solicitors in Norfolk. He was made a partner in 1985 and the firm of Pomeroy & Son merged with Greenland Houchen (the forerunner to Spire Solicitors) in 2006.

Peter Cook has played an active part in the local community having been Chairman of Wymondham and Attleborough Round Table, Chairman of Wymondham 41 Club and currently a member of Wymondham Rotary Club. He has been involved with the local Citizens Advice Bureau having been Chairman of their Management Committee and more recently participating in their legal advice service.

Peter lives in Wymondham and has a variety of hobbies and interests including local history, walking, natural history and cooking.
