Siân Carrel

Experience & Background

Siân Carrel is a partner in the firm’s Social Housing and Dispute Resolution Department and conducts general litigation matters with a specialisation in landlord and tenant work for providers of social housing and private landlords.

Siân currently acts for a large number of social housing landlords across East Anglia, dealing with a wide range of housing management issues, including possession proceedings, anti-social behaviour injunctions and committal proceedings. Siân is an experienced advocate and conducts all her own hearings, from direction hearings to trials and appeals.

Siân is an active member of Norfolk and Norwich Law Society, having been its president in 2006. Siân maintains close links with the Courts via the South Eastern Circuit Liaison Committee and court Users forum.

Siân is an active member of her Norfolk village, assists with community events and has been a parish councillor for several years, she has attended local government events and fostered good contacts with district councils.

Siân qualified in 1990 and became a partner in 2000.
