Spire Solicitors LLP (“Spire”), representing Gibb Group Ltd (“Gibb Group”) a subsidiary of Clarkson PLC (“Clarksons”), is pleased to announce the successful completion of the acquisition of Trauma & Resuscitation Services Limited (“Trauma Resus”).
This acquisition marks a significant step for Gibb Group, a leading supplier of Personal Protection Equipment (“PPE”) and Maintenance, Repair and Operations (“MRO”) services to the energy sector. Trauma Resus, an innovator in first aid solutions, brings its expertise to Gibb Group, enhancing its service offering in the oil & gas, marine, and renewable energy sectors. The acquisition includes the integration of Trauma Resus’ renowned EURIECA ® program, acknowledged globally as the standard for advanced first aid in the offshore wind sector.
With the acquisition, Trauma Resus’ clients will gain access to Gibb Group’s wide product range and sector-specific expertise. Gibb Group will continue to distribute EURIECA ® first aid kits and extend its offering to include comprehensive training courses on offshore first aid. The acquisition further ensures continuity as the 17-member Trauma Resus team will continue operating from their offices in New York and Warrington, UK, in addition to the Gibb Group warehouse in Rhode Island.
