Spire Solicitors LLP announces the retirement Alisdair Liddle, a valued Member of the LLP, as well as Partner in our Wills, Tax & Probate team. After many years of exceptional work, Alisdair will leave behind a lasting legacy within our firm.
Alisdair’s journey to becoming a respected legal professional started when he began his career in London, working for the Official Solicitors Office and city law firm, Simmons and Simmons for 12 years.
Returning to Norfolk, Alisdair joined Overbury Steward Eaton & Woolsey Solicitors (Overburys), quickly becoming Managing Partner, prior to their merger with Spire Solicitors LLP in 2013, where he continued with us as Head of Private Client. He’s been known for his expertise in private client work, especially helping with wills, trusts and supporting clients in all aspects of lifetime planning. He also assisted farming and agriculture clients and became skilled in helping clients access NHS Continuing Health Care.
Alongside his work, he has also worked closely with STEP, global professional body, with more than 21,000 members comprising lawyers, accountants, trustees and other practitioners that help families plan for their futures.
