Carol Howard

Private Client Executive

Carol Howard is a Private Client Executive within the Wills, Tax & Probate team. She is based between the Norwich and Aylsham offices.

Carol specialises in Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, the registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney, and probate and estate administration for both testate and intestate estates. She brings strong technical knowledge to her private client work, combined with a compassionate and client‑focused approach.

Carol completed her legal training through CILEx, beginning at City College Norwich and later continuing with CILEx Tutorial College. She is a qualified Advanced Paralegal and is currently undertaking her portfolio to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive.

Her career in law began as a legal secretary, and through dedication, further study and practical experience, she progressed to a fee earner position. Prior to specialising in private client work, Carol also worked as a fee earner within residential conveyancing, giving her a broad understanding of client care and legal processes.

Carol particularly values working with clients during what can often be difficult and emotional times. She aims to provide clear, concise explanations and reassurance throughout the process, offering both sensitivity and empathy. Her life experience, combined with a calm and supportive approach, enables her to guide clients through important decisions with confidence and understanding.

Outside of work, Carol enjoys spending time with her two young granddaughters, reading, exploring the North Norfolk coast, and travelling whenever possible.

The service we received was first class. Both efficient and expeditious. Absolutely no complaints, quite the opposite.
