On Friday 28th September, Spire Solicitors LLP helped to raise £420 by supporting the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Tables full of tempting cakes and scones which were generously donated by staff and the local community, were on sale throughout the morning at the Diss United Reformed Church.

A special thank you to everyone who baked cakes for us, to the local businesses that donated raffle prizes and to the Diss United Reformed Church for letting us use their facilities. I am thrilled with the amount raised and hope that it will help Macmillan Norfolk to continue with the great work they do in supporting local people affected by cancer.”
The number of people with cancer is increasing, with over 830 cancers diagnosed every day in England. This means Macmillan’s support for people living with cancer is in more demand than ever. All the funds raised will be used by Macmillan to fund vital cancer services for local people affected by cancer, from specialist cancer nurses to grants for cancer patients with money problems.
